Ozark Regional Transit Paratransit Service is a shared ride service for which appointments must be made ahead of time from one day to 7 days in advance. Although no assistance is usually provided to individuals between the van and the door of their starting point or destination with our curb-to-curb service, any individual(s) that do need assistance, need to request this in advance with the Call Center.

No Shows

Occasionally, people scheduling trips with Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) Paratransit service fail to take the trip or cancel the trip without enough notice. The result of this causes us to not be able to re-schedule other people who need these trips. The schedule for each bus/route is set the afternoon prior to the next business day. A no-show or late cancellation thereby creates "open-time". With little notice from those passengers, we do not have the opportunity to reschedule other passengers calling for trips that day. Failure to notify us when canceling a trip may cause a vehicle to be unnecessarily dispatched, wasting time and fuel. Eliminating no-show passengers and late cancellations will enable us to provide more rides for all of our customers at the same cost.
