ROUTE 4 DEVIATION - BIKES, BLUES & BBQ
Due to the large motorcycle event this week, Ozark Regional Transit will be rerouting Route 4 in the Dickson Street area from 09/20/17 - 09/22/17.
Route 4 will continue to service Hillcrest Towers as a major transfer point for the other ORT routes and Razorback Transit routes. Inbound to Hillcrest Towers will be on Center Street and Outbound will be on Mountain Street. The rest of Route 4 will be unaffected.
ROUTE 2 IMPROVEMENTS - 08/28/17
Route 2 will be having some minor improvements starting Monday, 08/28/17. The transfer point at Hillcrest Towers is moving across the street to the intersection of Center St and School Ave. Curtis Ave and Fairlane St will now be serviced by stops located on Huntsville Rd and 15th, and Nantucket Apartments will be serviced by the stop located on Morningside Dr.
See the map below for more information about Route 2 improvements. These changes are being implemented in order to better provide timely, reliable service to our passengers on Route 2.
ROUTE 490 IMPROVEMENTS - 08/07/17
Ozark Regional Transit's Route 490 will undergo major changes starting Monday, August 7, 2017. In an effort to streamline and improve service on Rt 490, the Lot 56 stop will be moved North to the Arkansas Archeological Survey off I-49 Exit 66 and Garland Ave at 2475 N Hatch Avenue. The schedule has changed to increase productivity on this route and to drastically improve timing - see new schedule below. The changes are being made in an effort to keep 490 on time and running smoothly (even with construction and traffic).
Connections can be made at the Arkansas Archeological Survey stop to the Razorback Blue line. ORT will also take free transfers from the Razorback Blue line.
There will be a park and ride lot at the Arkansas Archeological Survey for people riding Route 490 or the Commuter Express. No University of Arkansas parking tag is required to use the park and ride lot.
Route 63 Deviation Starting 03/02/17
Until further notice, ORT Route 63 is deviating past Arapaho Ave, then turning right on Don Tyson Parkway.
ORT is currently in the process of implementing a new mobile management platform in all of our vehicles. During this time several vehicles will not be trackable on RouteShout and the Fixed Route Bus Tracker. We are excited about the improvements to our passenger communications and we thank you for your patience during this time.
