Introducing Bentonville’s Route 13: Expanding Connectivity & Reducing Traffic

Writer: Ozark Regional TransitOzark Regional Transit

Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) is excited to introduce Route 13, a new transit option designed to enhance connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and improve access to key destinations in Bentonville.

Route 13

Launching soon, Route 13 will provide better access to work, entertainment, and shopping, all while helping to alleviate traffic along 8th Street—one of the city’s busiest corridors.

How Route 13 Improves Transit in Bentonville

  • Reduces Traffic on 8th Street

    • By adding a new, frequent transit option, Route 13 helps decrease car congestion, making commutes smoother for residents and workers.

  • Connects to Key Routes

    • Route 13 links directly to Route 14, Route 53, Route 54, and the Bentonville-Rogers Connector (BRC) at 8th Street, providing seamless access to the broader transit network.

  • Frequent Service

    • 30-minute headways, meaning a bus arrives every half hour, making public transit a reliable and convenient alternative to driving.

  • Designed for Everyone

    • Whether you're commuting to work, heading out for entertainment, or shopping, Route 13 is open to all riders looking for a better way to travel in Bentonville.

A Model for Future Expansion

With the success of Route 13, ORT hopes to mirror this service in Fayetteville, Springdale, and Rogers, expanding transit frequency and accessibility across Northwest Arkansas.

Plan Your Trip

Route 13 will be available on PassioGO! starting tomorrow, so riders can track buses in real time and plan their trips with ease.

This new route is just one of the many ways ORT is working to improve public transit access and reduce traffic congestion in our growing region.

Stay tuned for updates and start riding Route 13 soon!
